IMF Wants Pakistan To Increase Electricity Price

IMF wants to increase electricity price up to RS.7.91 per unit. An increase in price was agreed between Pakistan and IMF for last fiscal year but the plan was not implemented. A subsidy of 200 billion rupees has been provided by Federal Government to the power sector.
